The One Bag Challenge is sweeping the nation! Started by the mayor of Kelowna, BC, it’s moved its way to Ontario, and we hope it’ll make a real impact on the lives of people in need.
How It Works: Bring a bag of food to your local food bank, take a video or picture of it, and challenge 5 friends to donate too. If you can’t make it to your food bank, you can donate to the OAFB through the form below!
For every $1 you donate, we can provide 3 meals to someone in need.
Such as oatmeal, high-fibre cereal, brown rice, and whole grain pasta
Such as canned salmon or tuna, peanut butter, canned or dried beans/lentils
Fruits & Veggies
Such as potatoes, onions, carrots and tomatoes. Food banks can accept both canned and fresh!
Special Diet Foods
Such as gluten-free, lactose-free, kosher, heart-healthy and sugar-free foods
Such as pureed veggies, powdered formula, baby cereal
