As a member of the OAFB, you have access to Food Banks Canada’s National Food Sharing System, which provides food banks with millions of pounds of non-perishable and fresh food

Membership includes access to Link2Feed, a client intake system that tracks food bank use, trends, and statistics in real time.

Funding Programs

Members are eligible to apply for our three exclusive funding programs designed to build capacity and increase fresh food provisioning in our food banks.

The OAFB offers complimentary safe food handling courses, as well as training opportunities through webinars and our annual conference.

Interested in Membership?

In order to be eligible for membership, your food bank must:

  1. Not serve the same geographical community as an existing OAFB member (please check our Find a Food Bank map for a list of our current members)
  2. Be a registered charity in good standing with the Canadian Revenue Agency
  3. Abide by Food Banks Canada’s Ethical Food Banking Code and our client care guidelines
