Tom

Our membership includes over 100 food banks across the province, from villages and small towns to major city centres.  All of these food banks are dedicated to serving their communities.  But many must do their work with limited financial and human resources.  We work to provide assistance to all of our members through the delivery of support programs so that they can build their capacity to serve their neighbours.

We offer a technical assistance library including best practice documents and programs that can be used by food banks across the province, including fundraising resources.

This section contains information pertaining to OAFB's Member Conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The OAFB offers three group insurance programs for the benefit of its members: Health and Dental Insurance, Directors and Officers Liability, and General Liability Insurance.

Starting in 2008, sustainability grants will be offered to selected members who wish to execute development activities, but require new or additional funds to expand or create a new and exciting fundraising initiative.
