Programs
We have many programs to reduce hunger across Ontario, from moving millions of pounds of food to cities and towns across the province to helping young researchers fight hunger through our online journal.
Food
We are focused on food. The OAFB coordinates a number of food and acquisition distribution programs, from the provincial food distribution network to seasonal Metro food drives. Through these programs, we are able to distribute millions of pounds of food across the province every year.
Supports
As a member-driven organization, we work diligently to provide useful programs that provide supports for food bank operations, management, and fundraising.
Standards
We work with our member food banks to ensure that when their neighbours turn to them for assistance, it is provided to them in a high quality, safe and dignified environment.
Poverty Reduction
We work to implement long-term solutions to hunger and poverty in Ontario through well-thought out research and policy solutions, programs, and local projects. We can end hunger. Think about it.
