A big thank you to participating restaurants and everyone who decided to Dine Out for Hunger during our province-wide event to benefit 350,000 people (including 140,000 children) forced to turn to food banks monthly in Ontario.
A great big thanks from the OAFB and our member food banks to our friends at Casey's restaurants across the province for raising $50,000 in Ontario and Quebec for the second year in a row through their special promotional menu Feed The Soul!

Get Involved in 2010
Restaurants participating in Dine Out for Hunger range from casual cafes to fine dining establishments and are located across Ontario in up to 100 communities, including Ottawa, Toronto, London, Windsor, and St. Catharines, and benefiting OAFB member food banks.
It’s easy to participate!
Simply register your restaurant today online and choose how you would like to contribute to the cause, from creating a special dinner menu, promotion or event to donating proceeds during part or all of the month. Participation is flexible and designed to support business. Establishments can choose how they would like to help and still make a difference for their neighbours facing hunger.
It's easy to participate! Dine Out for Hunger will supply ready to use and customizable materials to localize to each establishment and community, such as:
- billstuffers
- table tent toppers
- posters
- press releases

SUPPORTERS
Dine Out for Hunger Supporters dedicated to Success: Media and culinary association supporters and food bank partners at the provincial and local level will encourage Ontarians to Dine Out for Hunger. The celebrity chef ambassador for Dine Out for Hunger is Ontario restaurant owner and host of "Fresh with Anna Olson", Food Network Canada chef Anna Olson.
